- The rental period begins on the date of payment.
- There is no fixed end date; however, either party may terminate the agreement with proper notice.
2.2. Payment Terms
- Monthly payments are due on the first day of each month.
- Late payments may incur additional fees.
- All payments should be made through the approved payment methods listed in your rental agreement.
3. Security and Access
Your safety and security are paramount. We implement various measures to ensure the protection of your belongings.
3.1. Access Hours
- Access to your storage unit is available 24/7 with proper identification.
- During non-business hours, electronic access codes will be provided.
3.2. Security Measures
- We employ surveillance cameras throughout the facility.
- On-site security personnel monitor the premises regularly.
- All storage units are secured with individual locks. We recommend using high-quality locks.
4. Prohibited Items
To maintain a safe and lawful environment, certain items are strictly prohibited from being stored at Ealingself Storage.
- Hazardous materials such as flammable liquids, explosives, and chemicals.
- Perishable items that can deteriorate or attract pests.
- Illegal substances and items that violate local, state, or federal laws.
- Any items that pose a threat to the safety and security of the facility.
5. Liability and Insurance
Understanding the extent of our liability helps ensure peace of mind for both parties.
5.1. Limitation of Liability
Ealingself Storage is not liable for any damage or loss of property stored in the units, except in cases of proven negligence on our part. It's recommended that customers secure their own insurance for added protection.
5.2. Insurance Recommendations
- Obtain comprehensive insurance coverage for high-value items.
- Review your existing policies to ensure they cover storage unit contents.
- Contact your insurance provider for specific coverage details related to storage.
6. Maintenance and Repairs
Maintaining the integrity of the storage facility is a shared responsibility.
- Customers should keep their units clean and free from pest infestations.
- Report any maintenance issues immediately to our staff.
- Ealingself Storage will handle necessary repairs promptly to ensure the facility remains secure and functional.
7. Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate the rental agreement under certain conditions.
7.1. Customer-Initiated Termination
- Provide written notice at least 30 days prior to termination.
- Ensure all payments are up to date.
7.2. Ealingself Storage-Initiated Termination
- If the customer violates any terms, Ealingself Storage may terminate the agreement immediately.
- In cases of non-payment, the facility has the right to auction off stored items after the appropriate notice period.
8. Modifications to Terms
Ealingself Storage reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ealingself Storage operates. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the appropriate legal venues.
10. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
11. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Ealingself Storage regarding the use of our services, superseding all prior agreements and understandings.
12. Amendments
Any amendments to this agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties. Verbal agreements are not recognized.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ealingself Storage from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of our storage services, including any violation of these Terms and Conditions.
14. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy document for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
15. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through informal negotiations before seeking legal remedies.

Ealingself Storage is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, or other unforeseen events.
17. Assignment
Customers may not assign or transfer their rental agreements to another party without the written consent of Ealingself Storage.
18. Notices
All notices under this agreement must be in writing and delivered to the appropriate party as outlined in the rental agreement.
19. Waiver
Failure by Ealingself Storage to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce that provision in the future.
20. Interpretation
Headings used in these Terms and Conditions are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of the provisions herein.
